Practical Bathing is a family run business dedicated entirely to special needs bathing. Our work includes simple installation right through to complete refurbishment or room adaptations. Working with private customers, care homes, hospitals, Local Authorities and charities, we are able to handle all types of projects, large or small.

Initial Contact

When you call, you’ll be talking to people who really understand your situation. We’re happy to offer suggestions and information, or we can arrange a no obligation visit* to discuss the matter in greater detail and to conduct a site survey. We can also advise on your situation for VAT exemption eligibility.

The Assessment & Survey Visit*

One of our expert advisors will be happy to visit you to discuss your requirements and to design an appropriate solution. With an unequalled range of baths, showers and bathroom equipment to choose from, we are able to tailor the installation precisely to your needs. The advisor will measure up the property and investigate matters such as electrical supplies, gas, water pressures etc.

Placing Your Order

When you decide to proceed, we will order in all the parts and equipment required for the job. We will call you to arrange a convenient date and time for the work to be done, and confirm this in writing.

Installation

Our expert installers will arrive to carry out any stripping out or preparatory work. The equipment and parts will be delivered a little later so that any rubbish can be cleared immediately from site. We are very mindful of the fact that many of our customers are vulnerable or frail, and we go to great lengths to ensure that they are treated sympathetically during this potentially stressful time.

Warranty & Service

Your installation is warrantied for 1 year, notwithstanding manufacturers’ warranties which may be longer. Ongoing service and maintenance can be arranged for products requiring this facility.
